Perry Allen is an up and coming singer-songwriter from the Phoenix, Arizona area. Seventeen years old and a senior at Arizona School for the Arts, Perry has released his first full length album "It'll Be OK" which has sold extremely well since its debut. He plays multiple shows every month and his fan base is beginning to grow.
Having played guitar for over ten years and various other instruments, Perry released the ten song album, "It'll Be OK", November 23, 2004. Although it has a full band, whenever Perry plays live he is accompanied only by his guitar. His record has been featured on Good Morning Arizona plus an interview and a three song performance, is on rotation on KJACK (Northern Arizona University's radio station), is being picked up by 103.9 The Edge's Local Frequency, is being listened to on over a dozen other radio stations across the country, and can be found in half a dozen local record stores (including both Stinkweeds and Quicks Music). His music can also be heard at www.myspace.com/perryallen, and read about at his website www.perryallen.tk. He has been written about in Arizona's GetOut, State Press, College Times, and New Times. Perry has now finished recording his second album - "The World According to a Daydreamer" - and is receiving rave reviews.
Perry performs three to five times a months at venues including: Modified Arts (Phoenix, AZ), The Paper Heart Gallery (Phoenix, AZ), The Willow House (Phoenix, AZ), Tribeca (NYC, NY), and many others; with bands such as: Adam Panic (AZ), Lakeshore Drive (AZ), Workshirt Wonder (AZ), HIV Wolves (WA), Love Story Hero (CA), and Aria Decline (CA). He has played for audiences ranging from fifteen to one hundred-fifty all with the same intensity and energy.
