About Peter Schroeder:

Through his workshops, seminarsand recent book, "It's Your Movie", Schroeder has always encouraged others to follow their hearts and live their dreams. Following his own advice, he sold the house, quit the job, and took off for Nashville! Now, heâs got âem singinâ along at The Bluebird, Tootsieâs and Hobo Joeâs. His infectious melodies seem instantly familiar, with lyrics that you want to hear again. He creates and entertains; he enlightens and inspires. Pete feels, âWriters who respect the power of music are respected, while those who ignore it are ignored.â

He has studied voice with Claude Stein (New York) and Tamara Anderson (Chicago), performed around the country, in Canada, the Caribbean, and in Europe.

âI decided to take the responsibility of composing music seriously. My music is specifically created to evoke feelings you want to feel, images you want to see, and places you want to visit and revisit.â

With titles such as âKindnessâ, âLet Out The Joyâ, and âThe Family I Loveâ, his priorities and personality come through. The styles of his music go from ballad to broadway, country to Caribbean, and reggae to rock. His body of work illustrates his ability to create music appropriate for any subject, any setting.
