This all-original ten-song debut can best be described as Texas Music, or Honky Tonk meets Americana with a vast array of influences. The disc lends itself to a wide variety of airplay formats. While the band usually plays live as a lean, mean four or five piece, extra players were brought into the recording of the disc to add texture and dimension including guitar by Davin James and Bryan Duckworthâs fiddle of Robert Earl Keen fame.
Recording began at the Broken W Ranch (Coyote Tracks) in Mineola, Texas, and was completed at Flashpoint Studio in Austin, Texas. It was engineered and remixed by the Eastside Flash, who has recorded the likes of Robert Earl Keen, Townes Van Zandt, James McMurtry, Austin Lounge Lizards, and the Asylum Street Spankers, to name a few. The ubiquitous Jerry Tubb at Terra Nova Digital Audio completed final mastering. Enjoy.
