Uniquely constructed folk ballads with a hint of garage rock occasionally drifting into what psychedelic depression must sound like...
11 MP3 Songs
ROCK: Psychedelic, POP: Folky Pop
Details:
McCann has been a drifter these past four years, often asking, "Where am I?" And, "Do I care?" Finally picking up the guitar and piano to keep himself occupied during the long drought of the days and nights, McCann plucks through melodic pieces that eventually climax into an erratic mess of vibrato and reverb. "Last Chances For Lost Causes" is the debut of this mess mixing in apathy, regret, and loathing for specific individuals in society. The album can most definitely be described as "melodramatic curiosity." McCann cannot answer the multitude of questions posed throughout the album, but can only critque them and know there is something wrong with how human beings interact with one another. So, break into someone's house, find a stereo, grab a glass full of choice whiskey, and pour yourself an introspective night of music.
