Details:
Patrick "Glory" Thomas was born in Trench Town, Kingston 12, Jamaica. At the age of sixteen, he went
to live in Marverly, kingston 20. As a young man
growing up, he always had a passion for music, and was inspired and influenced by Reggae greats Dennis Brown
and Horace Andy. His passion for music guided him to
Black Scorpio Sound System, where he met artists General Threes, Sassafras and Shucka Shine. Singing became
natural to him, hence another golden voice. Patrick
became a singer on The Black Scorpio Sound and was formerly known as Patrick Irie.
In 1976 he did a song on the Roaring Lion label by the name of " When I was a youth at the age of nine".
This was the beginning of his recording career. Even though the song did not go to higher heights, Patrick never throw in the towel. He migrated to The U.S.A. Washington D.C. and began hanging at The Turntable
Night Club performing to it's patrons on a regular basis. This is where his producer Kenley "Shortmus" John saw
him singing his beautiful melodies. The rest is now history in the album MONEY PROBLEM, and the artist
PATRICK GLORY.
Patrick gives thanks to almighty GOD, his mother
and father, his kids, his numerous friends and
supporters especially Wallace who is his inspiration.
He also big up the Washington massive especially the Turntable Crew, the Croosraods Crew, the Milton
Massive and all the beautiful peoples of GOD's
creation.
