is the 2005 debut album, written and produced by Michael & Ginny Nolan.
On this collection of mid-tempo/contemporary/pop/rock tunes, the band achieved the elements and texture that make great songs.
The disc starts out with an eye opening, slightly preachy, yet playful rock song
about love & selflessness.
âI Think The Worldâs On Fireâ along with some catchy words of wisdom, Â has a great slide guitar hook that weaves in and out of the mix.
Ricky âRastamanâ Vela appears on drums for this tune and, from time to time, Â with Passion And Fury Live.
Rickyâs been playing with the band for about eight years, and is considered part of the Passion And Fury family. Â
Charmed Quark provides a platform where Mike shows his talents for
writing passionate blues ballads that have sweet guitar hooks, and vocals with feeling.
There are a number of eclectic gems that have mindful, prolific lyrics, written on a musical tapestry.

the 2:20 straight forward rocker âSheâs A Believerâ. âSlippinâ Awayâ sets a tone of angst and mockery, packed once again, with some great guitar hooks. The album closes with an adult version of high school prom.

âCome On Sallyâ is a fun boogie blues, reminiscent of the Beatles and the Beach Boys. Nevertheless it is sure to get you out on the dance floor & more.

is a fine 1st effort for this indie duo.
