This album has an electric rock'n'roll heart but isn't afraid to play with acoustic folk, jazz, blues, and a little country.
15 MP3 Songs
POP: Beatles-pop, EASY LISTENING: Soft Rock
Details:
This record has been a dream of ours for over thirty years. My sister, Jan, and cousin, Christa, and I have been singing together since 1963 when we decided that the only way to meet "The Beatles" was to write and sing our own music and get famous ourselves. We hooked up with Robert Berry in 1973 and made our first demos for RCA, Decca, and later Apple Records in his home studio. It seems only fitting that we returned to Robert, now owner of Soundtek Studios in Campbell, CA, to make this CD for ourselves and our families. We had a dream, but Robert gave the dream direction. With his incredible production, instrumental, and song-writing skills behind us, we brought our original songs, mainly written by Jan, out of the sixties and into the twenty-first century. We added a few new ones, too. Family and friends joined us on several songs to make the project complete. I couldn't be more proud of the results.
So take a listen to the songs that have made our sweet dreams come true.
