This is the second collaboration between Guitarist / Composer Paul Abler and powerhouse drummer Cindy Blackman. Cindyâs muscular drumming is perfect for Ablerâs melodic original music, which ranges from hard driving swing to bossa nova & samba.
Originally from Detroit, Now based in New York City, Abler has performed and / or recorded with James Carter, Allen Farnham, Craig Taborn, Gerald Cleaver, Ugonna Okegwo, Marcus Belgrave, Michael Cochrane, Sean Smith, John DiMartino, David McMurray, Mina Agossi, Joe Lee Wilson, Cameron Brown, Charles Davis, Dwayne Burno, Ted Curson and his wife, Brazilian vocalist Yashmin Charnet-Abler.
