About Barry:
Barry Gibson began singing as a child in his hometown of Miamisburg, Ohio. He sang in church and school choir until he joined his first band "Odds Against" in 1982, where he began writing original music for the first time. Numerous formations of his band 1111 (Eleven, Eleven) and several albums later, Gibson received worldwide recognition through his nomination for "Album of the Year" in 1999, his award in 2000 for "Outstanding National Artist" and yet another award as "Singer/Songwriter of the Year" in 2002 from the prestigious Los Angeles Music Awards.

Gibson has been featured on the local radio program "Genre" seven times in the past five years. He has performed live on local television station WTAP in Parkersburg, WV numerous times, as well as the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. His music has also been featured on KLOS in Los Angeles as well as many stations across the US and abroad. Barry continues to record and this is his 15th album he is releasing here in the spring of 2005.
