Music driven by a deep and melodic voice, and her songs will cause you to feel things to your core. Warm and also provocative.
10 MP3 Songs
FOLK: like Joni, POP: Delicate
Details:
Grapes and Seeds is the fourth independent release for Bar Scott.
Recorded over a two year period, Bar did all of the vocals (which there are lots of!) in her home studio.
This is an exciting collection of songs written over a 20 years.
They are rich in vocal harmony, with provocative lyrics and simple piano based arrangements.
Bar is accompanied throughout the recording by the incomparable Tony Levin (Peter Gabriel, King Crimson and many more) on bass and on cello.
Performances are also made by Gary Burke (Joe Jackson band), Graham Maby (Natalie Merchant band), Grammy-moninated cellist, Abby Newton, Jay Scott on acoustic guitars, and Anders Alfelt on upright bass.
