While spending most of his career in rock music, Paul has always loved the sound of big band and swing jazz. In recording "Hot & Cool", he has acheived an ambition by perfoming such classic material.

Paul has been performing much of the material contained on this CD around Wales for several months, receiving rave reviews and tumultuous receptions from audiences wherever he performs. Several of the songs have received airplay on national radio, and are often requestion on Wales most popular late-night radio show.

About Paul Needs

Paul is one of the very few acts around south Wales to perform two totally different shows - 60âs & 70âs pop and rock n roll, as well as Swing and ballads, Merseybeat to sophisticated swing.


A very experienced singer, songwriter, instrumentalist and live performer, as well as a recording artist, Paulâs work has been played on BBC and Independent radio in the UK.


For the past 15 years, he has sold CDs of his work all over the world, and his website is visited from people in the far east, USA, Australia, Africa as well as Europe and the UK.

In the past year, Paul has also performed in some wonderful theatres in south Wales, including the Grand
Pavilion Theatre in Porthcawl, The Beaufort Theatre in Ebbw Vale and Swanseaâs Grand Theatre.
