When most people hear the word SHRED they instantly get visions of neo-classical shred meisters like Yngwie Malmsteen, etc. If you've heard my playing, you know that's not my style. I enjoy listening to that and I appreciate it very much--but my playing has a much "bluesier" base to it. So, if you can conceive of a "Blues Shred" style... that's what I'm going after with this release!
