The debut album from this songwriter combines rock with a little alt-country, a sharp lyrical potency, and an indie feel.
10 MP3 Songs
ROCK: Americana, ROCK: Folk Rock
Details:
Combining folk, rock, and alt-country; a sharp lyrical potency; and an indie feel, Patrick Dunn's music reflects a maturity beyond his years. His powerful live shows and ever-growing arsenal of honest songs can only lead to excitement about this 24-year-old musician.
Originally from New York, Patrick returned home after spending four years at a Philadelphia-area college, ready to record his debut album, "Corner Room" (independently released, May 2005). With little money, he decided to produce it himself and play all the instruments. The result is an album that unfolds itself over an eclectic mix of styles and well-inspired songs that refuse to leave the listener unaffected.
Not content to rest, Patrick recently relocated to Boston and is currently working on writing and recording demos of new songs that are clearly his best work yet. These songs are quickly becoming the focus of Patrick's live shows, along with the new classics from "Corner Room."
Taking on his new city and embracing its scene, it's all eyes on the future for this singer/songwriter. Keep watching and keep listening...
