GIA Music Group artist Pam G Rankins is a native of Louisville Ky and is affectionately called the songbird of Derby City .

From the time of her childhood Pam has been involved in the Gospel Music arena in the greater Kentuckiana area. She began as a musician at Von Spiegel St. Baptist Church. She is a graduate of the JOE THOMAS SCHOOL OF MUSIC, a former member of Sound of Gospel Recording Co artist KEITH HUNTER AND THE WITNESS FOR CHRIST CHOIR and was featured soloist on the title cut of their project WAIT ON THE LORD. MEMBER OF: NEGRO COLLEGE FUND CHOIR, DIRECTOR/FOUNDER OF "WE SING COMMUNITY SCHOOL CHOIR,ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF WEST LOUISVILLE GIRLS CHOIR, AFRICAN AMERICAN CHORALE.

While an excellent singer Pam also has been led by the guidance of the Holy Spirit to be a songwriter.

Her talents & gifts have allowed her to travel throughout the USA, BAHAMAS, SWITZERLAND, & CANADA She has been a featured artist with the Louisville Orchestra & has provided background work & opening act for some of the best in pop & gospel music including Michael Bolton ,Albertina Walker, Dorothy Norwood and Min Tommie Jones,Larnelle Harris, & Dr Bobby Jones.

Pam's musical life has not overshadowed her personal life she is the married to Joe Rankins and they have 4 wonderful children. She also is a writer for Glory TV Magazine a local gospel publication in the Louisville area.

With her self entitled project set to drop in April 2004 Pam says her main goal in life is to glorify God in all that she says thinks or does and be a virtuous woman that God and other can be proud of.
