HISTORY OF ProTéGé⢠A.K.A. THA PRINCE OF VEGAS ProTéGé⢠was born on June 23rd, of 1984, in LAS VEGAS, NEVADA!!!!!!!. Discovering his love for music at an early age, ProTéGé ⢠began writing his own rhymes at the age of 4, along side his big brother (Kid Finesse)! ProTéGé â¢, however, didn't take his rhyming serious until he was presented with the opporunity to do so in 2001. A life-threatening/ altering incident occured on July 24, 2002 for ProTéGé â¢, when he was placed in the hospital for 4 days under close watch due to "a system function failure". Fresh from the hospital the same day of his release, ProTéGé ⢠began to write, write, and write, honing his skills as a credible MC. As time went on, ProTéGé ⢠began to submerse himself more and more into his musical talent,honing his skills at every chance or opportunity he had. Writing at work, school, or even in his head wasn't an uncommon thing for him to do, and now his craft is ready to be seen on a world stage. The Prince of Vegas a.k.a. ProTéGé⢠is also the C.E.O. of his independently owned recording company called G.F.M.M. RECORDS LLC (short for God-Family-Music-Money Records), and is currently hard at work on three albums which include his solo debut, his new mixtape album, and his groups new mixtape album as well.
