Mark Pollock, a singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist who writes in many different styles that denies simple classification, released his debut solo CD, "Burning in Your Bones," in 1997. Filled with a number of different genres, the album goes from folk-rock to blues to power-pop to reggae to introspective acoustic tunes. Pollock's second album, "Corridors of Light, " was released in 1998.
His third CD, "Mark Pollock and the Big Spenders," came out in 2000. Pollock currently tours with his backing band, The Big Spenders, in the Boston and New England areas. He has shared the stage with Joe Cocker, Jethro Tull, Edgar Winter, The Outlaws, The Band, America, James Montgomery, Bo Diddley, Southside Johnny, Eddie Money, The Beach Boys, The Pousette-Dart Band, Commander Cody, Matt "Guitar" Murphy, and Justin Hayward of the Moody Blues.
