Portrait of Another formed in the fall of 2003 in Charlottesville, VA. With a variety of influences from Seal to Toad the Wet Sprocket to Duncan Sheik, Portrait has combined the spirit of a singer/songwriter with the strength of a rock band. Their live performances feed off the band's versatility and energy while maintaining lyrical depth and integrity.
Portrait released its first full length album (Self-titled) in the spring of 2005 after an eleven-day marathon recording session under the direction of singer/songwriter Justin
Rosolino. The album reflects the eclectic yet coherent songwriting and sound of Portrait, with an occasional nod to their many influences.
The bottom line: these guys rock!
