With their most recent album, There Is A Beauty, Poured Out Like Wine has put forth fifteen songs that are full of fellowship and melody. Here is an album that is regionally specific, but open to everyone. There Is A Beauty eschews modern worship trends in favor of something more holistic and natural; which is to say that it doesn't sound like U2, but it doesn't sound like The Grateful Dead either. This album that makes your pre-conceived notions about worship obsolete and it favors a back porch, southern church, songwriting aesthetic. There Is A Beauty doesn't sound like a band, but a family, and a community.


Poured Out Like Wine was birthed nearly eight years ago by songwriter Mike O'Brien, and since then has grown to encompass four songwriters and over twenty-five different musicians from the Metro Atlanta community and around the Southeast. Since its inception, Poured Out Like Wine has traveled extensively to play in various venues and locations, and although the music is driven by the traditional guitar, bass, and drums lineup, the band employs the use of instruments such as: hammer dulcimer, violin and strings, mandolin, melodica, djembe, congas, Rhodes piano and Hammond B3 organ, piano, pedal steel guitar, and even occasional programming.

Poured Out Like Wine is the music branch of the Vineyard Community Church of Marietta, Georgia and is made up of four songwriters/worship leaders and over twenty- five musicians of one local church. Since Vineyard Community Church was founded in 1997, they have sung many of their own worship songs in their worship services, and There is A Beauty represents some of those worship songs that have been part of their worship.
