Harp from the Heart. A blend of Irish and tradtional melodies, beautifully intertwined arrangements, at times dynamic and bold and at times soothing and meditative, performed on two Medieval style Troubadour harps.
22 MP3 Songs
FOLK: Traditional Folk, CLASSICAL: Traditional
Details:
A blend of Irish and tradtional melodies performed on two medieval style harps.
22 selections including five medleys.
Beautifully intertwined arrangements, at times dynamic and bold and at times soothing and meditative, performed on Troubadour harps.
If you have never heard Greensleeves or Amazing Grace played on harps you are in for a rare treat.
We are husband and wife harpists who have been performing since 1976. We had no music background, only a fierce desire to play music. After trying several different instruments with no success, our deep yearning led us to a Lyon-Healy Troubadour harp, a medieval style harp.
We called a harp teacher and asked if we were too old and did it matter that we couldn't read music. She said no so we started lessons. Thus began our adventure with our harps.
