The Chris Piquette Band came together in October of 2004. In the short time since, Chris has taken the group to new heights with a quickly growing list of hot originals. The band has a sound that can best be described as colorful blues-rock, with influences ranging from SRV, Hendrix, Clapton, Steely Dan, and Stevie Wonder as well as more modern sounds like Pearl Jam, Maroon 5 and STP. The band is made up of some of the finest musicians that the Pioneer Valley has to offer. Nicholas Cressotti(bass) and Clark Seibold(drums) have been playing together in different groups for the past ten years. As the rhythm section in The Chris Piquette Band, they hold down the groove while gently complimenting Chris dynamic guitar playing and singing. The Chris Piquette Band is the current project from the creative force behind the Valley Advocates 2003-2004 winner for best blues band, Blue Illusion.
