Notes:
This CD took a bit longer to finish than they used to. I recorded it mostly myself at all hours, during baby naps, pre-school, or any half hour I could find⦠Iâve got kids now. Iâm lucky enough to have some outdated recording gear in the corner of our bedroom and to me a half hour of recording can be a great escape. Things are moving along nicely, just a bit slower. But, itâs OK. I play at a lot of great places with a lot of great people. My bands are my friends and gigs are my nights out. What will be, will be. This weekend, the band will be playing somewhere. Maybe even in Europe or New York, if it the gigs cover (some) airfare or hotels. Or maybe in Denver, Tahoe or Bozeman, if they'll trade us slope side accommodations and lift passes for some live music (this is better than cash, I think). But weâll probably just be playing (God willing) at the Tiki in Pacific Beach for tall beers and fun. Regardless where, the people will drink and dance and the house will be a rockinâ. A good time will be had by all, especially me.
Thanks Katie (wife), Georgia and Max (kids). Though itâs a bit more complicated now, you guys have made things simpler in a way too. Music isnât the only thing I care about anymore. Itâs just one of them. (Skiing, beer and soccer, I still love you too). What will be, will be. In the mean time, enjoy the new music. Itâs my best yet. Hope to see ya out and about. Don't be scared of the night life.
