"This was re-mixed & remastered in November, 2010. Most of the original demo tracks were kept. Only the airy synth solo was re-recorded in Nov 2010."

"This was written in the mid '90's, and became a Simon Apple song. Although I don't think we ever performed it live. If we did, it was only once or twice - I can't recall. It's also not the easiest song to sing. It hasn't appeared on a Simon Apple album because it didn't fit at the time, but we did include a vocal demo version on the River To The Sea Bonus 2CD set. Ironically, a few people have told me this might be their favorite Simon Apple song."

"I've always been a huge Genesis fan - all eras of the band - I like their early, middle, and later stuff... though I do have a softer spot for the early & middle era. This song, however, is certainly a nod to later-era Genesis, complete with hypnotic drum machine groove, Tony Banks type chord changes, and Mike Rutherford guitar part. I wrote this song on a Korg Wavestation, which was also the keyboard of choice for Tony Banks on their "We Can't Dance" album. Using that keyboard certainly gives it an even more Genesis type sound... not really on purpose... just is what it is!"
