This is the final installment of the Songs from The Underbelly 4 part opus (an EP, 2 albums and a 7" single), written by rock & roll renegade Stephen Hartley.

Starting off as guitarist in infamous cult punk band NOTSENSIBLES, Hartley has continued to tread the irreverent offbeat line, writing sharply observed songs delivered in a purist 3-piece garage band format.

Widely acclaimed as a superb guitarist and great English songwriter, he has never bowed to commercial pressures, preferring always the low key DIY approach. As always the album features the hallmark Eli Records hand-printed cover - white lettering on black card, with a woodcut embossed in black ink - impossible to appreciate without holding the cover in your hand and holding it up to the light.

The songs range from the exquisite fingerpicking of 'Dis Non' to the full on blistering thrash of 'Gastronomy'. Hartley includes Sick of Being Normal, one of his earliest songs, which first appeared on the NOTSENSIBLES 'Instant Classic' album
