Un poco de mi historia:
Hola, mi nombre es Melvin. Yo vivo en un sector llamado El Montaña, de municipio de Jarabacoa, de provincia La Vega en La República Dominicana. Yo nací en el año 1990. Cuando yo iba a nacer mi mama tuvo una caída, y yo recibí un golpe en la cabeza. Yo sufrí un daño en el cerebro. Ese condición se llama Parálisis Cerebral.

A los nueve años conocí a Cristo en un culto en una casa cerca de donde vivo. Antes de conocer a Cristo yo era muy triste. Pero Jesús cambio mi tristeza por alegría! Yo cambie a ser un niño muy feliz. Antes de conocer a Cristo no tenía muchos amigos, pero cuando yo conocí a Cristo yo comencé a conocer amigos.

En el año 2005 yo empecé tener convulsiones, y me llevo al médico. Me pusieron un tratamiento pero como era costoso, no podíamos comprarlo. Eso fue al principio de un tiempo deprimido. Usualmente yo estaba muy feliz y contento y no sé porque eso cambio. Yo pensaba cerca de la muerte. A veces, a mi me llevaba al hospital en Jarabacoa, porque a mí me llego ataques muy fuertes. En este tiempo yo visitaba la iglesia Jesús para Todas Las Naciones y la gente en la iglesia empezaron orar por mí. Las oraciones de la gente me ayudo a sanarme.

En el año 2006 mi mama se quemo las piernas. Entonces, ella se fue a Santo Domingo por 5 meses. Después que mi mama regreso a la casa, ella y yo comenzamos a orar por muchas personas, por todos los amigos de nosotros, y por la familia, y por todas las personas que viene a mi casa. Después comenzamos a ver el cambio de la familia.

Yo me bautice en el Río Jimenoa en el año 2008 en el domingo de la Resurrección. Allá estuvieron muchos amigos.

En todo mi vida, Dios estuvo alli. Dios salvó mi vida!

La canción Úsame Señor yo la escribí porque a mi me han dicho que mi testimonio ha cambiado y tocado vidas. Y yo quiero ser un canal de bendiciones. Escribí fuiste por mí porque conozco que cristo murió en la cruz por nosotros. Yo escribí las canciones por acción de gracias al Señor, porque ha sido bueno conmigo. Espero a todos que escuchan las canciones que les gustan, y que Dios les bendiga.

A bit of my story:

Hello, my name is Melvin. I live in an area called El Montana, in the town of Jarabacoa, in La Vega province, in the Dominican Republic. I was born in 1990. When I was born my mother had a fall, and I received a blow to the head. I suffered an injury in the brain. This condition is called cerebral palsy.

At nine years old I met Christ in a worship service in a house near where I live. Before I met Christ I was very sad. But Jesus changed my sadness for joy! I changed to be a very happy child. Before knowing Christ I did not have many friends, but when I met Christ I began to meet friends.

In 2005 I started having seizures, and they took me to the doctor. They had a treatment but it was expensive, we could not buy it. That was the beginning of a long depression. Usually I was very happy and content and I do not know why that changed. I thought about death. Sometimes, they took me to the hospital in Jarabacoa, because I would get very strong attacks. At this time I visited the church called Jesus for All Nations and people in the church began praying for me. The prayers of people helped me heal.

In 2006 my mother burned her legs. So she went to Santo Domingo for 5 months. After my mom came back home, she and I started praying for many people, for all of our friends, and family, and everyone who comes to my house. Then we started to see the family change.
I was baptized in the River Jimenoa in 2008 on the Sunday of the Resurrection. There were many friends.

In all my life, God was there. God saved my life!

John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.â

âUse me Lordâ (Usame Senor) I wrote because I am told that my testimony has changed and touched lives, and I want to be a channel of blessings. I wrote âYou went for meâ (Fuiste por Mi) because I know that Christ died on the cross for us. I wrote the other songs of thanksgiving to the Lord, because He has been good to me. I hope all who listen to the songs will enjoy them and will be blessed by God!
