The 'Ontologica!' soundtrack is a compendium of the absolute essential music from the notorious feature film of the same name. It is my hope that this music will guide you on a journey of self realization and renew your faith in humanity.

Music is an important element in any film, but for a film like Ontologica!, having the perfect music was a matter of life and death importance. I knew even as I began writing the film that I would have to work with a bona fide musical genius, or it would fall apart. Ontologica! explores a vast array of monumental and poignant themes like humanity's place in Eternity, the Oneness of the Cosmos, and the exact size of God's Penis. Needless to say, it was absolutely essential for the music in each scene to have precisely the right emotional quality to it, so the audience would feel the film, instead of just reading the words and seeing the images. Accomplishing this was no simple task. Milosz and I initially scheduled two months to complete the score. Six months, dozens of discarded tracks, countless gallons of coffee, and hundreds of emails, phone calls, and meetings later, we had our final score.

The process began with much experimentation and exchanging of ideas. It got off to an expectedly rough and sloppy start, but the more we continued to push through, the more our mental energies began to vibrate to the same harmonious frequencies, and eventually we hit a tipping point where we knew the Music Gods had decided to embrace our endeavor, and everything began to flow. A normal day's work would consist of us discussing the upcoming section of the film in the afternoon, and then Milosz sending me samples around 4:00 in the A.M., to which I would respond with a set of deliriously scribed notes around sunrise. Milosz's ability to take my abstract and nonsensical ramblings and translate them into music was endlessly awe inspiring to witness. The result of our collaboration is some of the finest, and most beautifully moving music that has ever been created. This is a fact, not an opinion.
