A native of Jacksonville, Florida, Rob Mercer became a regular opening act for many gospel greats including the late Ron Winans, Edwin Hawkins & Yolanda Adams. Rob has sang at the historic Kennedy Center in Washington, DC where he performed the Carlton Burgess classic, Greater is He. He also has performed in Johannesburg, South Africa where he conducted a Gospel music workshop for the Ajamica performing arts students. Most recently, he blazed the stage at The Jazz Cafe in London, England with his arrangement of Marvin gaye's, What's Going On.

In 2006, he joined forces with DC's Independent Artists to release, Rob Mercer with Friends - A Brotherâs Worship, on his K.A.M.G. (Kingdom Access Music Group) label. Rob showcased his vocal, lyrical and musical writing abilities and connected with listeners of all ages. He demonstrated his love for others in the Christian community by collaborating with fellow worship leaders and recording artist veterans, Mo Horns and classical/jazz pianist, William Buthod; making this CD fresh, bold & conscientious of the fact that the love of Christ needs to be shared with people of all races and backgrounds.

In 2011, Rob looks to continue being a trend setter with his debut solo release, The Photo Album. Each track takes a very transparent look into Robâs life & showcases God as the center of it all. He hopes to challenge all to never give up & keep pursuing their God-given passions & purpose in life. With production from noted CCM recording artist, Antonio Neal and Tyrone Johnson of Swizz Beatz productions, Robâs prayer is that this CDâs melody & message inspires & changes a generation.
