Voyager Records proudly announces the first release in their new series âAccents For Solo Harpâ. The series will feature a variety of styles and instruments for meditation and relaxation. This first release expounds the soft gentle sounds of the harp creating a calming, soothing environment. â Accents For Solo Harpâ is a collection of hymns selected by renowned harpist, Phyllis Taylor Sparks.

âAccents For Solo Harpâ is the sixth release on Voyager Records for Ms Sparks. She holds Master and Bachelor Degrees in Music Performance from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan and has a second Masterâs Degree in Music Performance from Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee. Phyllis is a former member of the famous Mantovani Orchestra. She has worked as both a solo artist and accompanist for many notable artists such as Josh Groban, Natalie Cole, and Ray Charles. Her recordings have received airplay on radio stations around the U.S. and Canada. She currently plays with the Nashville Chamber Orchestra and records with the Nashville String Machine. Ms. Sparks played with the Nashville Symphony on their East Coast Carnegie Hall Tour and for the Amy Grant Christmas Tour in 2001.
