At last available as a download , the classic 1989 album from British Folk Singer and Songwriter Richard Grainger featuring the voices of The Wilson Family and Angie Bladen . Richard Grainger Vocal and Guitar,Concertina -Dick Miles and Keyboard - Chris Harvey.
Recorded at Dragontail Studios, Lancashire and Produced by Richard Grainger and Chris Pollington. Now re-released on the Klondike label.
The only place you can hear Graingers 'Whalerman's Lament (Home Ground)' and 'Evergreen' among others.His acclaimed versions of Ron Angel's 'Chemical Workers Song' and Harry Chapins classic 'Born Today' can be found here too.
An album for its times re-released as a download. Available in CD version from June 30th. Klondike Records are working on re-releasing more of Richard Grainger's older recordings. Darklands is Vol1.
