Sanura is, hands down, the best new artist to come out of Virginia. Hailing from Virginia Beach, this 20 year old singer/songwriter is destined to strike mainstream gold. Her debut album, Ultimate Accessory, started out as an experiment and quickly catapulted her to local success.

" I got the call from my producer, Cito On The Beat, to record a full length album in the matter of 5 days," Sanura laughs. "He lives up north, so at first I thought he was screwing with my head, but he was sooo sincere!" Cito's drive and motivation gave Sanura the guts to make the 7 hour trip from Virginia Beach, Virginia to Union City, New Jersey, to begin working on the album. She hopped on the China Town bus that following week and prepared herself for the challenge.

"We didn't sleep at all during those 5 days... we just sat in his room every single day, writing, producing, and arranging songs..." recalls the songstress. The pair recorded and mixed every song in a corner in Cito's room, nailing at least 2-3 songs a night. He made every beat from scratch, she wrote every song from scratch, and in just a matter of days, an album was completed.

" I originally wanted the album to be a strictly R&B album, but he really pushed me to broaden my horizons and venture out into other genres." states Sanura. The thirteen track album was written and produced solely by Sanura and Cito On The Beat, with contributions from producers K-Skillz and Louie V. The project is definitely a labor of love and truly shows the kind of magic that can be made when two astoundingly creative individuals are put in the same room.
