Lorenzo Sánchez completed his DMA in piano performance at USC in 1992.
He has edited most of Domingo Lobatoâs music for piano solo, the âSonata Nöelâ for violin and piano, the Sonata for Oboe and Piano, and some art songs. Lobatoâs Piano Sonata #2 and his âTres Preludiosâ have been subsequently published by Ediciones Mexicanas de Música in Mexico City. He has recently recorded a CD (with violinist Konstantin Zioumbilov) that includes the âSonata Nöel.â
