Calgary born Lauren Busheikin (b'-SHAKE-in) has spent her whole life performing and the past three years establishing herself as a singer/songwriter in Edmontonâs music scene. Her versatile musical background, including classical, jazz, blues, folk, and pop, allows her to create a unique blend in her songs that have listeners humming along. She was a finalist in the Calgary Folk Festivalâs 2009 and 2011 songwriting contests and a recipient of one of Rawlco Radio's recording grants. With a diploma in vocal performance and composition from MacEwan University as well as over eighteen years of performance experience, her thoughtful lyrics and mature vocal style will leave listeners wanting more.
