Who Am I? I am a Christian woman who has a heart for Jesus and the lost. I live in Ruidoso, NM with my husband Jerry. I have always been a person that liked to write songs . Some of my friends think of me as a folksinger. I feel I am a Jesus Story Teller. I write about life in todays world, even if it is sometimes hard to hear. I write about Jesus and what he has done for me and also what he can do for you. All of the songs on this Cd are written and performed by me and are also copyright protected. My sweet husband is co-writer on a number of the songs as well. I would like to say that without his encouragement I would not have taken on this huge project. But God had another plan for me.. You see, when I retired from my job in healthcare the Lord placed it on my heart to sing again. I remember saying, Lord .. Am I hearing you correctly... You want me to sing again. And I must say, with the encouragement of my husband Jerry I did just that. When we moved here to Ruidoso, the Lord placed Brad Barnum, a local worship leader and the owner of Mountain Top Recording Studios in our lives. He recorded the music, played the various guitar sections.. and even sang backup for me on the title cut "The River". I couldn't believe that the Lord had provided the outlet for me to record the music and a Christian Brother to assist in the process.
It was another way of knowing that it was God's will. What I would like to say to whoever reads this.. It is never to late to follow your dreams, especially when the Lord is in it....
