Knalpot is a critically acclaimed improvising electronic rock duo from Amsterdam. It consists of German guitarist Raphael Vanoli (Freiburg, 1978) and Austrian drummer Gerri Jäger (Innsbruck, 1979). Despite the small number of band members, their instrumental setup is extensive: the band owns a boutique collection of vintage effect pedals and devices, supporting guitars, drums, and keyboards, joint together as a networked motherboard of musical possibilities.

Knalpot is admired by fellow musicians as Chris Clark, Bibio, Múm, Aardvarck, Moha! and Icarus. They have released the EP 'Serious Outtakes' on CD and vinyl (EatConcrete 2009) and 'Sauce' is their follow-up EP.
