Acoustic sounds get entrapped between the Italian pop tradition and folk from elsewhere. ANTONIO BRIGANTE and his band sing about their world â and ours too â through their attentive eyes. By simply taking inspiration from news, the band tries to represent a small portion of reality, that you may even reject, but that itâs still real. They treat hurting themes, that however are dealt with a disarming plainness blowing away the fear that makes sensation, yet hides the real true. The underlying drama of these songs is entirely temperated by a distant, yet lucid eye, with a touch of bitter irony.
