Details:
This CD is the last group of songs that I have composed, recorded and produced in the instrumental genre. With some exceptions, performing and programing all the instruments much of the time on this album.
My devotion to develop good dexterity in the guitar is at least as strong as my determination to continue producing.
The result is an album with an incredible sound that goes through explosive progressive rock, without neglecting the acoustic guitars and electronic loops, resulting in calmer waters and more spacious uruguayan harmonies when you arrive to "Postales de Europa".
This trip is considered by me to have begun in 1986, and by others - perhaps those who think of it as the end of the production process- in 2010.
So you will hear many of the synthâs sounds of the eighties mixed with modern electronic loops.
A couple of years ago I became enamored with some of the new music being produced with more of a contemporary edge and thought it would be better to do the album with new songs. My thought was simply that it was good music but the right place in time was gone far away. If looked at with a touch of humor, the nature of the songs is a little uncomfortable by nature, with thoughts of smoke filled clubs and people waiting the next act. While not the typical image used for instrumental music, I thought this album deserved a name that conveyed a kind of a long time line.
So from my point of view is like my twenty-fourth anniversary album, and the reason to not leaving it in a shell is to keep on producing the next album and so on. It was like a mental barrier and now Iâm free to experiment in different ways.
And of course, I hope to make a long lasting relation with you trough music and sound, because without a connection that produces some reaction, it will feel like playing in a desert island, so this album needs a fresh pair of ears to have some meaning.
So thank you people and let's keep on rocking"
