This album is a great mix of songs involving everything from burgers, beer, babes, tubing, fishing, cheating, family, pets and love. Great album to listen to while tubing the river, laying on the beach, tail-gaiting, or taking a road trip.

Details:
Bob Laxson took his first guitar lesson when he was twelve years old and has been writing music for fifteen years. He likes writing Contemporary Country and Christian music. He has written a number songs for both female and male vocalists. Some of his wild and crazy songs could be compared to Toby Keith. Some of his good oleâ back home songs could be compared to Alan Jackson. Bob has been influenced in his writing by Alan Jackson, Toby Keith, Garth Brooks, Brooks & Dunn, Billy Currington and Easton Corbin.
Suzanna Brown takes her music cues from Patsy Cline, Dolly Parton, Reba McEntire, Faith Hill as well as Michael Jackson, The Eagles, Paula Abdul, Willie Nelson and Elvis Presley. She has written country, pop, Christian and comedy songs. In addition to songwriting, Suzanna writes and performs her own stand-up comedy.
Bob & Suzanna wrote the song, âBurgers, Beer & Babesâ drawing from college experiences. They add a little Texas A&M University nostalgia into this song.
Bobâs vacations every summer to the Frio River influenced the song âSinking In Love.â Give the song a listen and you will want to vacation there too!
Nashvilleâs Sandi Kight, does a great job singing this female attitude song, âIâve Gone Fishing Too!â Guys, watch out! Girls have some tricks up their sleeves too!
Suzanna says the song âLive Wireâ was Bobâs idea. She believes Bob was changing a light switch on the wall at his house one day, when either a light suddenly came on or he got shocked!
Reminiscing over our soldiers fighting overseas and drawing from his own near death experiences in his life, Bob was inspired to write the song âBreathe.â Nashvilleâs Jared Eaves sings this song, and his delivery will touch you like no other.
Bobâs son-in-law is from Earth, Texas. Earth is a farming town with a population of 1,000 people. Thinking of his city girl daughter living in the country, led Bob to write the song âSheâs Down to Earthâ with co-writer Randy Madrigal.
Bob forgot his wifeâs birthday one time! He had to do some real fast thinking and innovation which resulted into the song âThe Present.â
Some of Bobâs songs are co-written with Suzanna Brown. Her actions inspired Bob to write the song, âIâve Got My Hands Fullâ. Suzanna actually did pick up a stray dog by the side of the road. And, she still has that dog!
The TV Show, âUgly Bettyâ, gave Bob the idea to write, âNow Youâre Hot!â One night, Bob was watching an awards show on television. America Ferrera, who plays âUgly Bettyâ, was at the awards show. She was dressed real nice and looked fantastic and Bob said, âHey! Now Youâre Hot!â
Bobâs writing partner, Suzanna, came up with the idea to write âDonât Write Me Off Tomorrow.â Bob and Suzanna sat down on a bench by the San Marcos River during lunch one day, and wrote that song in about thirty minutes. Bob is still puzzled what inspired Suzanna to come up with that idea!
A family reunion in Galveston, Texas inspired the song âSo Much More.â An elderly relative grew up on Port Aransas Island, back in the 1930âs. She made a comment, âWe did not realize that we were poor, because no one else on the island had any more than we did.â
Bobâs daughter was married out in the hill country at Con Can, Texas. He wanted to do something special. They had been practicing dancing the Texas Waltz together. Little did she know, but Bob wrote âFather, Daughter Danceâ, and surprised her with the song when they danced the father, daughter dance at the wedding.
