Ben Arp got his start in music innocently enough by volunteering at a community radio station in Davis, California USA. Since then he has performed to international audiences, worked and performed with many other accomplished producers and continues to do post-production work for up and coming new electronic artists.
Writing under his given name for the first time ever, Arp produced the self-released EP â2010 In 3 Partsâ in late 2010 that featured just a taste of what to expect from his future recordings. Moody and downtempo at times, but also showing a glimmer of hope, Arpâs productions retain a sliver of influence from the past projects heâs been involved in â while showing a constant evolution one would expect from an artist dedicated to his craft.
"The Surrender" is the debut single from this new musical endeavor for Arp.
