A 36 year old, Chicago native and single mom, Mindy began performing as an actor, graduating from the Theatre School at DePaul University in Chicago in 1992. She returned to Chicago and began teaching at The Old Town School Of Folk Music, in the adult guitar and Wiggleworms children's music program. She currently lives and tours the entire Chicago area year round, bringing the house down every time.

I dream to create kid's music that blends real rock & roll and pop music with the salt and spirit of Jim Henson, the wild abandon of Iggy Pop, the playful spirit and integrity of "Jack's Big Music Show" on Noggin, and the pulse pounding excitment of a Super Monster Truck-Pull. My favorite children's musical acts include Peter Himmelman, The Dirty Sock Funtime Band, Ralph Covert, Milkshake, Music For Ardvarks, Justin Roberts, Laurie Berkner, Jeanie B!, TMBG, Zac Morgan, .....I could go on forever. Ton's of great acts out there."
