Electric Blues
11 MP3 Songs
BLUES: Electric Blues, BLUES: Blues Vocals
Details:
The Hatchlings are a Kansas City, Mo. based Blues, Jazz and R & B trio. The name comes from the late and great Provine âLittleâ Hatch, an internationally known bluesman famous for his big voice and big tone. Over the years, Little Hatchâs harmonica and vocal styling influenced scores of Kansas City musicians.
After his passing in 2003, several members of his band, the Houserockers, decided to carry on his legacy as The Hatchlings. Long time members Jaisson Taylor (drums & vocals) and Bill Dye (guitar) eventually teamed up with Len Bacoski (bass & vocals) to form the current unit. Combining more than 100 years of playing experience, their unmistakable sound and energy aims to continue Little Hatchâs tradition of providing great âliveâ music. The Hatchlings are gaining notice regionally and have opened shows for Roomful of Blues, Popa Chubby, and Ronnie Baker Brooks. For more information, check out their website at www.thehatchlingsband.com
