Through perseverance and commitment, Holly Stanton has managed to take the dreams and desires she held as a young woman and turn them into a life long gift of creating song and music. Drawing early inspiration from the likes of Elton John and other super pop artists of the day, Holly quickly learned how to craft her music into interesting and easily remembered pop rock songs.

Hollyâs raw vocal imagery and tight pop rock understanding forms the foundation of the entire âTEMPTATIONâ album. With that foundation now set in stone, âTHE VALIANT YEARSâ continues on in the same vein - only better.

TEMPTATION brought Holly numerous critical accolades including a triple same week âPick of the Weekâ by BILLBOARD, CASHBOX and RECORD WORLD magazines â a feat only nearly matched by The Beatles when they had been bestowed with two simultaneous picks during the early heady Beatlemania days. This âtriple shotâ of sorts landed Holly an opening spot on the premier music television show, SOLID GOLD.

THE VALIANT YEARS is Hollyâs latest offering and is yet another stunning example of her unique song writing and music crafting skills. With a little help from her friends, Holly manages to capture a somewhat more sophisticated sound compared to TEMPTATION while continuing to hold on to much of the âraw' sound of her earlier work.

Like TEMPTATION, THE VALIANT YEARS includes a wide cross section of pop music styling; weaving from the haunting and intimate sound of âTonightâ to the outright pop rock explosion of âIt Feels Like Thunderâ. There's even a âsouth of the boarderâ flavoring in the pop guise of âCosta Del Solâ.

THE VALIANT YEARS is a delightful and powerful indulgence and it's quite apparent that Holly makes no excuses for any of her music. A must have for anyone who enjoys catchy pop tunes.
