HTL, named after the dirt road the band originally practiced on (Honey Tree Lane), began in 1993. Each member brings a distinct playing style to the band which explains their original sound. The band has three songwriters, Amanda Mullins, Amber Mullins, and John Northcraft, adding to their diversity. The band produced and released, Good'n Spood'n in 1994 and The Family Album in 1999. The third album is a work in progress due to a recording hiatus but is planned to be released in 2006. The band has been playing shows from inception to the present.
