Four years ago, Ben Smith, Patrick Barrett, Christian Paschall, Ashley Dasher, and JR Collins were high school students with no idea of what God's future had in store for them. Today, they are five young men, traveling all over the southeast leading worship for churches and youth events. Starting out at their own Shiloh High School's FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes), Ben and Pat (Keyboards/Vocals, Guitar/Vocals respectively) quickly acquired a feel for leading dynamic worship that would draw young people and adults alike into a unique experience of God. They later met Christian (drums), JR (bass), and Ashley (guitar) through common friends. Today, with one album under their belt that has sold upwards of 3,500 copies, the group has hooked up with respected producer Scotty Wilbanks (Newsong, Third Day). Together, they've created a new and fresh worship album featuring their newly inspired "edgy" sound. This new record was released in late October 2005 and has sold over 2000 copies so far! "It has truly been an answer to prayer," the group says, "We just desire for God to use us in the biggest way He can for His glory." But of course, "City Streets" is only the beginning of this. Even with this new record, the band will continue to pursue God's call for them in writing, and leading in hopes that He will continue to lead them in their pursuit of deeper, more intimate worship.
