This cd is a collection of recordings capturing the tough side of conscious Hip Hop. The sound was created outside the confines of comformity. To bring forth an untouchable b-boy effect,recordings were done in one take as if a live show was being performed. Those creative moments are now stamped in time in cd form. Ujmul'EL is a rapper,performer,music composer,and song writer. He has been an M.C. since 1984 and has been producing music since 1991. From moving around place to place,in the 80's and 90's,he witnessed many forms of the art called Hip Hop. As time moved on,Ujmul'EL picked up alot from living in Philly,FL,NY,NJ,SC,NC,KY,TX,and ATL.
This cd was recorded at a spot called SOUL SMUGGLER in Atlanta where he still resides. He performs every now and then at Apache Cafe to keep MCing alive. He is currently working with other artists in Atlanta. On stage,he and the others will be known as Nocturnal Kings showcasing their nubian flair at No Major Label Record store in Downtown Atlanta. Ujmul'EL is reaching out to worldwide b-boys/b-girls who adore the hip hop culture. His way of life is displayed throughout his performance on this cd. From time to time,you'll hear aggressive battle rhymes mixed with portions of thought provoking lyrics. The music ranges from upbeat party bangers to mid-tempo grooves.
