If you think that Bush is a great president for any reason, DON'T BUY IT! You're not one of US... you're one of THEM!

On the other hand, if you think he is possibly the biggest jerk ever to occupy the Oval Office, you are going to LOVE this record!

Built around the strong songwriting of Barry Finnerty and Clarita Zarate, US-THE BAND's "political pop" is the perfect accompaniment to watching Sunday morning evangelical TV shows or Presidential news conferences. (With the sound turned off... none of US want to hear that crap!)

Over a year in the making, GLOBAL WARNING shows why: its
finely crafted songs, great performances (including some world class guitar playing...Barry is an ace guitarist who has played with Miles Davis and the Crusaders among others!), expert production, and beautiful packaging (Clarita also did all the artwork). There are parodies like Susan D's dead-on Tina Turner take on "WHAT'S BUSH GOT TO DO WITH IT?" and Barry's inspired George Benson-style "ON DOWNING" (about the Downing Street Memo... to the tune of "On Broadway").

There is a cover of Bob Dylan's bitter, touching 1963 song "WITH GOD ON OUR SIDE", brought up to date with some new lyrics that apply directly to today.

And then there are our original ballads such as the deeply moving "ARLINGTON" (a poetic tribute to the countless soldiers who sacrificed their lives for TRUE American ideals), and the song in which we try to share our dreams of peace and a better world: "ALL WE HAVE IS LOVE".
