Details:
Eric Fridrich, singer/songwriter:

Raised on the south side of Chicago, comes an artist who has inspired audiences with his stunning acoustic guitar and soulful harmonica. Eric Fridrich has played many parts of the country, from Chicago to Denver to New York Cityâs famous C.B.G.B.âs gallery.

After creating and then leading two original music groups in Chicago (Time Bomb Taxi, Dogfish and the Bottom Feeders) for many years, he has moved onwards pursuing a new depth in his musical career.

Now living and playing in Seattle, Eric has emerged as a standout in Seattleâs acoustical reformation. Combining his guitar and âsecond voiceâ harmonica, his blues-rock and jazz influenced music join a unique and distinct lyricism. Influenced by Eastern modalities, with a sharp American sense, Ericâs consummate songwriting harks of Bob Dylan and John Hiatt.

Ericâs journey has now reached well beyond his mid-western upbringing and, he has developed a whole new set of songs to compliment many of his old Chicago favorites. Just this last fall, Eric has assembled an exciting new troupe of musicians. Lamar Lofton plays stand up bass, along side the revered and well traveled percussionist Johnny Conga. Together they form the Eric Fridrich Trio and have been playing many events around the Seattle area, infusing Ericâs grooves with a Latin and world beat flavor.

Eric is currently recording his debut studio album with many guest musicians. The process of creating a full âbandâ sound in the studio is compelling a movement toward representing this iteration of Ericâs music live. Stay tuned for this anticipated release and, look for the emergence of the band - Ericson!

Not forgetting his roots, Eric returns regularly to Chicago to play for his many friends and fans in the windy city. While the majority of Ericâs extended family resides in Chicago, his wife and two young daughters live with him in Seattle.
