Tendor's debut album LOGCHOPA (English: Splittist/Reactionary) has nine tracks. All tracks are original Tibetan songs composed and performed by Tendor, and recorded by SFT's long-time friend Alex Vittum. These songs are mostly political and philosophical, while some are casual and funny. They're all in plain Tibetan, easy to understand if you're Tibetan. But many non-Tibetans tell me they like the sound and the feeling of the music.
I wrote many of these songs in college, and some during my years as a young Tibetan activist living in New York City. Naturally, the songs highlight the longing, the homesickness, the humor, the frustrations, the hopes and the passions that fill the lives of many young Tibetans and exiles everywhere.
