You want to be inspired, spirit uplifted and know that you are loved beyond measure by God then listen to these songs and have your spiritual cup filled.
12 MP3 Songs
GOSPEL: Contemporary Gospel, GOSPEL: Traditional Gospel
Details:
I am a wife, a mother, a sister, an aunt and an active member of my local church. Why? Because I do what I do just to praise the Lord! I am an independent artist that could not be content until I did what I feel God wanted me to do and that is to spread His word through song.
Two of the most rewarding things I feel that I have done in the spiritual realm is to get Godâs word out as recorded in the two projects He blessed me to release. All Of a Sudden Joy and this release, âDoing What I DO Just To Praise Youâ.
If you enjoy Dorothy Norwood and Albertina Walkerâs style and you believe there is truly an inheritance awaiting those that have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal savior-I invite you to listen to #2 âAinât That Good News and #6,7 and 8.
If you have lost your joy because of disappointments and/or broken relationships I highly recommend #9 (Unconditional Love) which is smooth, mellow and inspirational. It is a song of love â Jesusâ love for each of us. If you have ever had anyone to make promises to you and the very promise you needed the person to keep was broken, listen to #11 (Now That I know Jesus) that tells about someone who keeps the promises He makes!
I do not know about you and your lifeâs experiences but I have had many friends and loved ones (mother, father, all grand parents, a daughter and siblings just to name a few) that have gone on before me. Often I would think about those dear to me that are already sleeping in their grave. Thereâs so much news about death and destruction throughout our land and country, especially the war in Iraq and the memories of 9-11. One day a phone call from a dear friend who was looking for suggestions for the name of a song for a memorial program that would be performed at the state convention that year, gave me the opportunity to pen the words to the song #5 (We Remember) . I have been blessed to perform it when we commemorated the birth day of Martin Luther King and during Black History month in our city as well as numerous other occasions.
Once you purchase this CD the words of each song is included as well as names of all those that helped to make this project possible. My prayer and goal in life is to be Blessed to be a Blessing. I have no choice but to get the word out and tell everybody about Jesus!
I just say Halleluia-thank you Jesus when others share with me how these songs have such a powerful message, so much so, that they are inspired to go on in spite of the difficulties in their life. I will continue to âDo What I Do Just Praise Him. I feel as the apostle Paul âTo Live Is Christ - To Die Is Gain!
My desire is to inspire our elderly, to reach our young and to encourage us that have the responsibility to both age groups, in addition to the stresses of our jobs, helping to make ends meet and struggling to keep the family together, to hold on to Godâs unchanging hand and Just Do what You Do To Praise Him!
