A review of Eighteen Wheels Burning from Lunar Hypnosis Magazine:
If you've ever lost track of time reading Stonerrock.com, this band's for you. 'Got some Karma To Burn or Fireball Ministry in your collection? You'll be dazzled. Electric Wizard? Orange Goblin? Dirty Rig? Put your feet up on the speaker and crack open a cold one, you're gonna LOVE THIS SHIT!
The riffs are phat and greasy, with fine little red hairs all over the leaves. Jimi Hendrix on a freight line. Did you know they actually make spinners for big rigs? No seriously. I seen it on "Trick My Truck" the other night. If you know what I'm talking about, you *need* this album.
All silliness aside, there are some SERIOUS riffs going on here that are so full of southern sludge, you're gonna need some brake cleaner to get it outta your headphones. So cosmically tuneful and blacklight groovy it gives me goosebumps. The best summertime music, ever. Tune in, turn on, drop Eighteen Wheels Burning!
