Details:
Swamp Gas was formed in 1968 on Long Island NY. They played many local clubs and concerts. In 1969 they relocated to Middletown CT where Baird Hersey was attending college. They recorded the album at A & R Studios in New York and mixed it at The Record Plant. While they were recording they lived in a renovated barn in Ancramdale NY. After the album was finished, because of business problems the release date was postponed indefinitely. With no other immediate prospects the band fell apart In 1971.
