Exceptional Edward is an indie-rock band from Columbus, Ohio. The group has been together since 2005, refining their midwest indie-pop sound, playing as many shows as possible, and making their moms really proud.
The Exceptional Edward sound is acoustic driven rock with catchy hooks and strong melodies, drawing from British roots like Radiohead, U2 and Oasis, to more contemporary favorites like Deathcab for Cutie and Coldplay. The result is an original rock sound that can't be ignored.
In December of 2006 Exceptional Edward released its first official EP album, "The Exceptional EP." Featuring six of their catchiest tunes to date. A full length album is also in progress and expected to be released sometime next year.
